About the exam

What is STEP?

An additional mathematics examination required or recommended for Mathematics at Cambridge, Warwick and several other UK universities. STEP 2 and STEP 3 each contain 12 challenging questions, of which your best six answers count — demanding creative mathematical thinking well beyond A-Level.

Dates and rules are announced on ocr.org.uk — always check the latest details there.
